A letter from On Trac Events
I’ve had the pleasure of producing the event (Outlaw Flat Trac) in Carson City Nevada the last nine years with the help of Carson City’s Visitors Center (Visit Carson City) at Fuji Park.

With the production of these events, I was able to meet a great many people that helped produce and promote the event alongside On Trac Events. What we have created in the last nine years was an established event for local fans introducing them to the world of class C short track racing. Along the way we raised over $200,000 dollars for professional riders and thousands of dollars in product merchandise for amateur racers. Our fire/police benefit races raised over $40,000 in cash, going to local needs, assisting fire victims, local school needs, and assisted with loss of life for a police officer’s family. (Thank You Mike Cullen)
Looking back, I must have produced hundreds of events. I started with a small motocross track here in Carson City, Silver State MX for 10 years. I produced Arenacross in the 90s. In 2000 I went to work for a company called Pace Motorsports, you know them by the name Feld Ent. The Supercross people, there I ran the Toyota Arenacross series and had overseen rodeo events a few Concerts and other miscellanies events. Burn out factor came in at the 10-year mark. When you wake up in a town and don’t remember what rent-a-car you drove to the hotel, it’s time to go.
Sure, enough years down the road I was approached by Carson City’s Visitors Center to see if I had any ideas to help boost visitors to Carson City. Fuji Park was just sitting there idle. I was burnt out on Arenacross, friends Mitch Galagaher and Dave Kyle suggested maybe a short track race with dirt bikes. Hey, easy to set up! I went to a couple races, contacted Randy Kremlacek, a northern Cal. promoter who was already running a series. With his help and staff, I had the first short track at Fuji Park Aug.10, 2017. We over sold that evening. The next year we went two nights and Amateur races during the day. Nine years later it’s time to move on… Turn Left (Repeat)
Time to break down the E-Z ups, box up the sound system, stash the safety lights and put away the finish flag.
Hey, I’m going riding!
